Birthday Present Photo Shoot – Leonie Wynand

Lerynne Anne Photography - Bloemfontein - Woman's Portrait - Leonie WynandLeonie came to my studio with her friend, Deniella. She didn’t know me (the photo shoot was her birthday present) and seemed slightly cautious about entering into the whole experience. It wasn’t long though, before the sparkly personality of this beautiful woman began to peek through.
Leonie, I think this quote captures your attitude that day.  😀 “I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.” – Lucille Ball. May this courage to try new things bring you many great adventures in the future!

Aspiring Teacher – Deniella Slinger

Women's Portrait - Deniella Slinger - Lerynne Anne Photography - BloemfonteinSoft-spoken and a gentle heart, coupled with a strong will and the drive to see things through. These are just some of the sides of this beautiful woman’s personality.
Deniella, as a mother and a future teacher, this quote made me think of you: “A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” ~ Diane Mariechild
Your dreams and goals – and your success in attaining them – are going to have a positive impact on all those around you, especially the children you teach. Follow your faith – the right doors will be opened for you as you need them.

Gcobisa Magqazolo – psychologist-in-the-making

Woman's portrait by Bloemfontein Photography Studio, Lerynne Anne PhotographyA psychologist-in-the-making, this quiet yet self-assured young woman has the drive and determination to follow her dreams. She also rocks a pair of heels like few other women I’ve ever met!
Gcobisa, I saw this quote and it makes me think of you, ““I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.” – Oprah Winfrey
Follow your calling and everything else will fall into place.

The Many Faces Of Linda

Portrait of Linda - by Bloemfontein Portrait Photographer for women, Lerynne VersterLinda is a wife, mom of two teenage boys and a successful business owner. She has a unique view on life and the descriptions she uses as she describes her world will have you crying with laughter – while she looks at you with a serious face wondering what you find so funny about her serious story.

Calling her busy is an understatement! Her phone never stops ringing and she is always on the go. It’s little wonder then that she very seldom has “me time” and a chance to catch up with herself and where she is as a woman. So one morning we did just that: focused on Linda The Woman. And what a beautiful woman she is! Take a look…

Portraits of a Teacher, Traveler…

Portrait of Lieschen - the traveller, teacher and more...Lieschen has always wanted to become a teacher. After her studies in Bloem she decided to take some time to travel and work in America before following her passion. Despite a variety of opportunities to become involved in other fields, she kept saying, “No, thank you. I just want to teach!”

Somewhere over the seas this lovely woman met her soul-mate and now it seems that she will be a blessing in the lives of American school children in future.

On one of her regular visits to her parents in Bloemfontein, we spent a fun and laughter filled afternoon capturing these lovely images.

Portraits of a lady going from one decade to the next…

Tandys - portraits of woman business ownerWhen Tandys started her successful family-run business with her parents in Bloemfontein a few years ago, she was still in her twenties.

She wasn’t much older than the young article clerks from nearby firms who came to her shop, London Chippy, for lunch. I remember how much she hated it when they called her “Tannie!”

On her inevitable journey from her twenties to her thirties, Tandys had to face and overcome some tough challenges. To celebrate the strong, focused woman she is today, we captured this point in her journey through the decades with some fun and beautiful images.

PS: I advise you still don’t try to call her “Tannie”.
